Myspace for disc golfers finally here
February 19th, 2007 — FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Ohio Disc Golf Project, an online community for Ohio disc golfers, recently revamped its site, ohiodiscgolf.org, to become the first online disc golf community with major myspace functionality.
With a free account, members create customized profiles, maintain blogs, upload personal photos, send private messages, network with friends, and engage in discussions.
"In 2004, I wanted to build a central place where Ohio's disc golfers networked and learned all about Ohio disc golf. Three years later, I have finally built that place with help from the Ohio Disc Golf Project community." Brian Cray, Ohio Disc Golf Project founder, pushes the boundaries of what is available online to disc golfers.
Ohio Disc Golf Project has hundreds of members, with new people joining the community all the time.
If you visit Ohio, drop by ohiodiscgolf.org for information on local disc golf courses and events. The course directory is the web's most extensive, with course reviews, pictures, member-recorded scorecards, and awards.
