Its a excellent challenging course. A good mix of wooded, open, uphill, downhill. Even a few holes for the guys with the big arm
...mores. If your ever in the area or passing threw, come check it out, its even a good walk with all 24 holes.
Also, if your playing the course, it is a very new course. I would like to see more people picking up the assorted brush (sticks, logs) around your disc and just toss them to the side of the fairways.. This way we can see how the rollers and other trick shots can do on this course eventually.

paulyoung says "Playing course was a lot of fun. The holes were short but challenging. Clean and well laid out. And a great, family-friendly park. Highly recommended."

chrissccpu says "I had the unique opportunity to watch this course develop. I even had a little fun playing it before it was completely finished (SShhh.) I think this will be a great course for Monroe residents. The o...morenly negatives that I found were that the course as of April still doesn't have documentation for each hole. The navigation can get tricky when there is none. I plan to play over the Memorial day weekend so I can see if they have updates it yet. The only other downfall is that kids like to come over from the baseball and soccer fields and play on the baskets. My wife almost nailed a 9-12 year old with a driver disk that curved hard right. It was sadistically amusing to watch them run for cover.
The course is very tight on some holes. I bad miss can mean a tough time trying to get to your disc, much less punching out. Watch out for the holes on the far left side of the course. The holes border houses, and a good fence climb may be needed if you miss left (Yes that would be me).
I am interested to see how the course is maintained. Hopefully Monroe will keep it trimmed and clean. When your done, it's a great place for a picnic. There are playgrounds and shelters. My wife and I often bring our dogs to the park durring the week when it is not too busy. That's another good thing, I have never been playing and seen anybody else playing at the same time. I'm sure that will change this weekend.
All in all it was one of the funnest and funniest courses I have played. Much better than Winton Woods. I think the longevity of the course has a lot to do with how Monroe maintains and markets the course. I hope they take care of it because it's nice to have a course that I can wak to. I'll try to take some pictures this weekend.

It is a very fun and challenging course which makes me glad it has 24 holes. If it had any less it would seem too sho

Hard par 3's and a sometimes challenging par 5 make this course interesting. There are alot of spots where if you throw into the woods too deep in the spring/summer you will have an almost impossible out shot. This makes some of the par 3's very challenging.

You will definitely get a workout from all of the up and down walking on this long challenging course. The teepads, signs, and baskets are very nice, especially compaired to some of the other courses in the area.

Alot of right and left dogleg holes as well as open or narrow straight holes. The open and wooded holes are beautiful on sunny days when the grass is green and the trees are full, as well as in autumn.

There has been a little bit of vandalism going on lately by some teens that live nearby so if you see anything going on please report it to the police so we can help maintain this decent course!

xelto says "If your ideal course is repeated tight forest shots, this is your course. It's not a bad course, but there's nothing really memorable about it, either, and has a disappointing lack of variety or uniq...moreue holes. Decent elevation changes: some steep holes, some slight grades, some relatively flat. Most holes go through woods; all have trees in them somewhere.

Though it doesn't make a huge difference in the end, I found the posted pars to be inconsistent: easier holes had higher pars than nearby harder holes.

cincykid says "This 24 hole course was very well planned out and its obvious that the park made the most out of its unused woods. The front 9 is all up and down hill, so be prepared to get a little work out while p...morelaying. All but several holes are tightly fit into the woods with many obstacles which makes the majority of holes difficult to birdie. If you're like me, you'll lose interest playing all 24 holes because many of the holes start to feel the same after awhile but all in all, its one of the more challenging courses in the Cincinnati area and is definately worth a visit....less"

streborkb says "What a great course. I fully expect that once it receives more attention we may see major events here. A challenging and fun course with a little bit of everything. 24 holes with concrete tee pads ...moreand good signage. The course is mostly wooded, with great use of elevation change. Seems to have been very well thought out. I highly recommend you play Monroe.
Plan a weekend to visit Trader's World and Turtlecreek flea markets (exit 29, Monroe) and play 3 different courses within 15 minutes travel time (Monroe, Turtlecreek and Wilson).
