IF THIS IS WHAT DISC GOLF IS ALL ABOUT ACCORDING TO PARMA DISC GOLF PRESIDENT THESE CITYS NEED THE POLICE TO PATROL THESE COURSES PROTECTING THE PUBLIC AND CHILDREN FROM THE DRUGS AND ALCHOL IN THIS PARK FUNDED THROUGH DONATIONS OF HONEST CITIZENS. chainsniper says "Wow, I heard different things about this course, but I loved it. The holes were mostly short, but they were well placed and I found them challenging. The scenery was great! We saw four does and two...more bucks with huge racks. They were used to people and they let us get very close. There is a nice jogging path, swimming area, volleyball, and baseball field there too. This is a great place to start or visit if you've played for a while. I will go back again. Have fun, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I just hope they put in some more holes....less"
gunthar says "One plays up and down two hills along an exercise trail. Many deer that someone has been feeding so they are tame and will come right up to you."
bkolber says "ok everyone, here is the offical staus of expanding the Parma Disc Golf Course located At Veteran's Memorial Park, from 9 baskets to 18. The director of parks has plans to do the expansion probably la...moreter this year, the delay has been some of the vandalism to the course baskets (hole 7), the city want to look into maybe getting sturdier equipment before the expansion. personally i play this course about once a week. and hole 7 is the only one that is an issue (its fixed now) i tried explaining this to the city counsil and they have agreed to talk more about the expansion date....less"
spiggy says "We as a group have spent most of the winter cleaning up and trying to keep vandalis away. It has had its rewards
Beautiful new 4x4 metal tee posts and signage.
Love the bullitin ...moreboard!
I will be holding scrambles sundays at 11 for the near future
with hopes of buying our own 9 baskets for the other side.
hole 3.5 and 10 added already.
Swag has be reduced, but course still penalizes errent shots
wood cip tee taps greatly reducing mud and wear.
3 baskets missing chains and clips, I should fix those this week.
Give Parma another look you will be happily suprised....less"

kklon says "This course has great potential, but it's too bad the lovely city of Parma cannot maintain it. The course is well-designed and pretty tough, especially for beginners. The trees are unforgiving and the...more fairways are mere footpaths, no wider than a 2 lane road. With the promise of a back nine coming soon, It's definitely worth the trip....less"
tuni says "This is a tough 9 hole course mostly in the woods. Alot of skill shots required. The course is tough to navigate if it is your first time there I didn't see any signs for hole locations just arrows...more and white spraypaint on trees nearby the baskets. I am definetly glad there is a course in the Parma area though. Hope to see more holes in the future. I would suggest to wear long pants because there is a lot of pricker bushes and ivy patches. I cant wait to give the course another try....less"

jfish says "Short course that truly punishes errant shots. No real tee box, but nice maps for the tees that still have them (#2, #8, and #9 are gone). Expect to spend some time looking for those tees since ther...moree are no tee boxes. Also expect to spend some time looking for the basket since most aren't visible from the tee. Holes wind back and forth over a large hill providing elevation changes on most holes. Plays in almost a "links" style where you must place your drive in order to have a reasonable approach. No opportunities to rip a drive out there. This course is playable if you enjoy throwing half speed and testing your accuracy, but it does not provide the cathartic release of firing your driver out there....less"
danbraucher says "this course rewards accurate flight. 50% of the holes are reachable, but trees and schwag are a serious factor. most greens are cleared with woodchips around so park shots stick nice. great array of s...morehots, and a nice setting. medium elevation,
mature trees and crazy schwag briary rough.
another nine would be great, i guess the other side of the park is alittle more open....less"

marklibbey says "I live in Brunswick and I like to see new courses within easy driving distance go up. When I heard that this course was going in I thought it would be great. I went there a week ago and played it comi...moreng away not sure what to think. I know that the course is new and that there is suppose to be 9 more holes to come, so I will hold out judgement somewhat until the course is finished but.... for one there are no tee pads and it seemed every tee area is a mud pit so if it recently rained it's tough to get a good foot hold. I did have some touble figuring out where to throw a couple of times. I did notice they have reflectors on the trees just past each tee area to get an idea of where to throw. Tons of elevation changes which is a good thing. I did know that some of the signs were stolen so it's hard to find out which way the holes goes until you take a look around. Like I said , I will hold out final judgement until the course is completed but I would highly recommend cement tee pads if at all possible....less"
brettiafigliola says "Heavily wooded, challenging course, good signage, good flow from hole to hole, well laid out."
