andrewkh says "i'm from findlay and i have been trying to check out some different courses in the area (bg is less then half an hour away) so i got a crew together and went to check this one out. i had alot of fun.....more...so did everyone else. the only problem we all had was the park setup can be a little confusing at times, and by confusing i mean there are a few baskets so close to each other that you might have to ask one of the locals which one you are actually going to shooting for. but all in all a good course, aside from the slight confusion at times this course had a good setup and a good variety of different shots. and best of all, it's a public park that is well maintained so the will be no losing your disc in high weeds or heavily wooded areas. i am deffinatly coming back to this park...less"

rodea says "Very fun and rather dynamic course with long wide open spaces and more difficult wooded areas. The course can be really challenging with that BG wind and heads up for those apple trees, one of the tho...morerns went straight through my putter...less"
discsharkbrian20 says "It is a course that replicates a lot of its holes. One, two, three and, four are pretty much straight shoots to the hole. Five, Six, and seven are more difficult with trees in the way especially hole ...moresix and seven. It is close together and if you know BG it is always windy so be prepared to play in the wind. The crowed size is medium but it is very easy to hit people on the course so keep your eyes pealed. It is a very well labeled course yet; it is not worth a long drive to play it....less"
calcuttajoe says "THIS IS A FAIRLY FLAT COURSE WITH A MIXTURE OF OPEN AND WOODED HOLES. BEING SO CLOSE TO BOWLING GREEN UNIVERSITY IT GETS A LOT OF PLAY. MODERATELY CHALLENGING. I HAD A GOOD TIME. WORTH THE TRIP."

q says "This is a well-balanced. There are a couple of good holes in the orchard that have a number of available lines. Outside the woods is pretty open, but there are some tricky, long holes. Overall, I'd sa...morey its for intermediate players. You need some solid distance to birdie a number of the holes, but most are reachable with a drive....less"
barth says "Decent variation of holes, some short and wooded and a few wide open. A good test for beginners and experienced players both. An overall fun course, worth a visit if your in the area."
jake says "Not enough variation in holes. :("
jfish says "This course mixes holes that are entirely open in the early and late holes with more tight and wooded middle holes. Free throwers will enjoy big fields early and late that don't penalize wayward driv...morees on the first few holes. There are a number of par 4s that are easy birdies even without the most accurate of drives.
The middle holes are characterized by tight looks off the tee with low ceilings due to the orchard-like setting. If you're a less experienced player, at this point your best bet is to try to pick a line a just chuck it. You're as likely to hit one of the many trees this way as you are trying to miss them. It's easy at this point to taco any disc made of entry level plastic. Most of the wooded holes are short, though, so if your drive misses the trees, a birdie chance may still be there.
Whatever strokes you lost to par in the woods can be made up again once you emerge as the course opens up again. Heave your drive out there and concentrate on placing your approach close.
Overall, the course will challenge beginners while giving experienced players a shot at getting well under par....less"
bkanoti says "This course is perfect for those of you who like to go big on drives. Many wide open and long holes provide ample room for gripping and ripping, which always makes for a good time. Even though the p...morearks department has added a number of new trees to the couse, it is still wide open and fun. I will say, however, that the wind can turn this otherwise friendly course into the mean old lady next door. Simple putts, approach shots and drives can get blown all to pieces here, so be ready for anything. Regardless of the factors this is a course I really enjoy. Ciao!...less"
lawbag06 says "Bring every disc in your bag. Some holes require extraordinary drives, others, particularly in the "Apple Orchard", require pinpoint accuracy. This course almost requires you to learn new shots in o...morerder to cope with various obstacles. The best part is, jsut when you're about to get frustrated with one particular obstruction or challenge, the next hole doesn't have that particular obstacle, but another one. Definitely worth playing....less"
coaster655 says "this course offers a mix of open feild and tree obsticals with a couple of holes that have doglegs in them. its a good course for novices on a day when the wind is not blowing too hard (it always blow...mores in bowling green). but its an easy enough course to follow and play though. however if it is a windy day, bring your A game or lose your discs....less"
jestermeister says "I've played there twice last year. First one on my way up the day before Ottawa Park Open and it wasn't too hard to navigate, then again the day after on my way back. About the wind...oh yeah, it's ...moresomething else up there for some novices, but didn't bother me too much. It's a well-maintained course and is nice like zero stated. Gotta watch out for some walkers thru the course on walking trails and don't forget about those thorns in the orchards! I took pictures of that whole course and will upload a couple of 'em here eventually....less"
zero43502 says "the first 5 holes are wide open holes with is kind of tricky since bowling green has some strong winds at times on these holes then the course goes into some woods which can be tricky ,these holes are...more really short and should easy birdies then it goes back into the open for one hole then the next hole goes for a open tee into some trees the next three holes are similar one of then which is the toughest hoke on the course is a uphill 300 and some odd foot hole with the pin to the right ,the park is nice and clean ,these sometimes long waits since it's a college town and there's alot of players ,but it's worth a try if your in the area...less"
chriswoj says "Carter Park in Bowling Green is a collection of holes that, for the most part, are not that challenging to an advanced or open player. There is one 420 foot hole that slopes uphill on an anhyzer line,...more but other than that every hole is reachable at under 375 feet and wide open with few obstacles. It also has a nice little 'bird run' area through the woods with four very short hole from 7-10. The main challenge comes for new players looking to hone their skills, specifically distance. As many holes range near 350 feet and are wide open it leaves no defined line which gives new players the opportunity to refine their distance game and ready themselves for another step up in terms of driving. At the same time what is a bird run for most advanced players can be challenging to newer players with the myriad trees in the way. All in all it is a beautifully maintained course with nice concrete teepads and absolutely beautifully stout concrete signs at the tees. Worth a play for fun, especially in the spring with incredible winds running over its wide open expanse....less"
