Holes 4 and 5 have potential to be back-breakers if you miss to the right. Bad...more throws aren't punished on holes in the open, so it's good for players learning the game....less"

JTMelton says "Chillicothe needed a "Beginner Friendly" course and that was the objective when I designed the layout. Of course I was also limited on what land areas I could use. Yes, the college likes for you to ...moresign in at Shoemaker Hall so they know how much the course is being used so when I ask for upgrades I might get them. Even the Dean and Assistant Dean play the course. Be ware of hole #4 - do not go right. That was my "sense of humor" hole with about a 30 foot drop to the right of the basket. This course only takes about 1 1/2 hours to play with open shots, shot through the woods and some nice elevation changes....less"
mboden says "Played once (yesterday, 10/8), it was kind of mushy, although there had been some hard rains earlier in the week. Nice mix of wood and open holes, fun course, newly built pond will likely (possibly?)...more cause the redesign of one hole...overall, nice course, look forward to playing more often. Forgot to sign in, I hear that's something they're asking us to do...worthy of a trip, esp. w/Great Seal 10 mins. away and Pike Lake about 40 mins or so....less"
