acmebomb says "so to start off this is a short course. but also a fun exciting course. im used to playing at flat rocks where the holes are longer. REAL close to the Hoover Dam course also, so make a day of the two.

alittleover40 says "This is one of the first disc golf course my wife, 10 year old son, and I played. We all liked it. Most of the holes are fairly short, but also pretty tight (accuracy is rewarded). Fortunately, we ...moredidn't get into too much trouble. Didn't mind paying the .50 fee since the course was well maintained....less"

fortay says "A great beginner's course and great for people who want good scores. Well maintained. Concrete putting greens are weird, but fine concrete tees. Worth the .50 to play."

gdmyers says "Pay to play.... ehhh... but the course is beautifully maintained... black topped around the baskets which adds a little difficulty to the relatively short course... this course makes you feel good abo...moreut your short game... i think i finished like 7 under haha... definetely worth checking out if your in the area...less"

devioushoneyflex says "This is a great course for beginners. It's not the longest course around, but variable doglegs, elevation changes, and some narrow fairways make this course great for people who want to polish their g...moreame starting out. For more skilled players, try this course as all par three's for a new challenge and a fresher experience....less"

mmsova says "a fairly easy course, however you cant use too many power throws the baskets are short. They recently installed new baskets that are quite slippery for putting, you have to throw straight on."

mcoppel says "Short course, can be busy at times, pay to play, baskets are surrounded by concrete."

Guest says "This is a well maintained course located in the Blendon Wood Metro Park off of 161 in Columbus. This is a good course for beginners and children because there aren't any holes over 400 feet. The most ...moredifficult part about this course is the varied shot selection you will need to use on the left-hooking and right-hooking holes, along with a couple dogleg holes. This is a pay to play course, at .25 per round or .75 to play all day.

For the seasoned veteran, this course probably won't offer much in the way of difficulty. I've been playing disc golf for around 12 years and while I'm not a Pro, I am shocked if I'm not at least ten under par after the 18th. One solution for Pros bringing new friends, is for the Pros to play all holes as a Par 3.

The facilities are very well taken care of. The restrooms are very close, disc rental is offered (the last time I checked) and discs and snacks are sold at the "Pro Shop". There are also vending machines for soda and sports drinks.

This is a good course to bring the family. Everyone can play here and the course walk is not really that long. There is a pavilion located nearby along with picnic tables. There is also a playground just a short drive up through the park. So pack up some food and bring the kids.

Besides being an easier course for veterans, the only other caveat about this course is the crowds that can develop. On weekdays after 3pm it can get fairly crowded, and on the weekends it is generally crowded as well.

The scenery is good, and the people who run the course take great care of it. There are trash cans and places to deposit cigarette butts. It is a nice little walk through largely unobtrusive wooded areas. The layout is very linear and easy to follow.

Overall this isn't a bad course for what it's designed for. It is fairly easy, but it is very well maintained and good for introducing newer players as well as children. For the Pro looking for a challenge you may want to look elsewhere.

stollend says "This course is well kept with many short holes and few obstacles to deal with. Great if you want to take your family there to have fun or to practice your short game."

stickybanana says "Fare well? They didn't close this down. What I got from a phone call was that they closed it while new people took it over. I played there a week or so ago and the only thing I really noticed to be a ...moremajor change was they took out the vending machines....less"

putter1 says "where my addiction to D-golf began."

rambsy says "short couse, nice scenery, maybe to easy for the average player"

kyleb says "Very short course, that you have pay ~.25 to play"

milesd says "i've only played it twice since it's pay to play (only 1.50 a round, or 4.50 for all day play) no holes over 300 ft long, but mostly all wooded. concrete tees, and 6ft radius concrete around targets (...moreprovides an added level of difficulty, as discs tend to bounce off and somewhat away to far from the target) good course to work on figuring your lines out.

perfect course to bring the family for a nice day out, there's playgrounds in the park (not to close to the course) and there's picnic areas available with grills too... if in Columbus, and you play disc golf, make this a stop for at least 1 round

benburton says "all nine baskets are in the ground with new placements, tee signs will hopefully be up soon, let me know about any ideas for leagues. maybe raise some money for teepads. maybe a party"

mbrad43 says "Awesome short course. Tons of trees to hit with your favorite disc. Bring your Mountain Bike and hit the trails after your round."

photorob says "Hedges Boyer Park in Tiffin is only 1 1/2 years old and plays great. The 19 hole layout is carefully thought out to challenge you as you play. Elevation and water come into play on some holes while ho...morele 11, at 170 feet, is a target for many golfer's first hole in one. Asphalt and water are out of bounds and Hedges has creek running through out and an asphalt walk way for walkers and runners. This has you thinking about the strength and direction or your throws. The tees are confusing for many. At least for right now. Cement pads are in the planning stages while the blue tees are periodiaclly marked off with paint. When ever the grass is mowed, and that is often, the blue tees have to be reapplied. Over all Hedges Boyer Park is a well kept, up and coming park that is very popular park with alot of activities besides disc golf. so watch out for the pedestrians....less"

michaelmote says "When I played here, there were groups of 5 to 10, running through the course. There was a daily fee, and apparently they wanted to get in all the disc golf they could for the price. I did not use a ...moredriver at all, as a putt and approach disc is all that is needed for the mostly short holes....less"

roy says "Ok its kinda easy and short. I'm still kinda new to this sport and can get a 7 under par here.
Its verry well maintained thanks to the .50 per round fee that I gladly pay. Concrete tees, blac
...morektop "greens", good signs, soda and water machines, trash cans, 3 practice tees and butt cans for smokers.
There is a "Pro Shop" aka shack with a kid for all your disc golfing needs.

The holes are well designed with a perfect mix of obsticles, throw styles and not too thick roughs.

This is a great course for children. Don't go on weekends unless you like getting stuck behind a fatass housewife and 5 kids that won't let you play though. But anyways its a great little course thats worth the time, and very beginner friendly.

mrbret says "Not a bad one to play, pretty short & straight holes with a couple of bends here & there. Not the best but not the worst. Worth a play for sure"

briancray says "The holes are short in this course, which makes it easy to get a score that makes you happy. The best thing is that this course is well maintained and each hole is very well designed, even though each...more hole is short. You'll have to pay a couple bucks for each round. At the same time, you can buy a few discs while you're paying for your round....less"
