pros-
1. very secluded
2. nice mach 3 baskets
3. wooded holes kick ass (4 total)
4. long te...morees offer a complete new course. some doubling the shorts
5. decent mix of lefts, rights, ups, downs
6. rough is punishing
cons-
1.too forgiving off the tee(unless you really shank 'em like me). fairways are 60 to 100 YARDS wide on most holes. all field. they had to really work to get tricky pin placements on this course. not many mature trees at all. it is very, very open off the tee, then baskets are either tucked in brush or stuck behind a lone tree in middle of the field.
2. footages are WAY off. especially long tees. one in paticular was marked 485ft, and we all blew by it 30-60 ft. no freaking way.
3. tees marked poorly, you will be walking around alot. and they are earth.
4. a 400 ft hyzer bomb would park 8 or 9 holes. some shorter, some longer. you get the point though. its grip and rip here.
5. zero facilities, none. freakin ghost town, no food or beer on sundays for 15-20 miles.
6. no water hazards that really factor in to play.
altogether fun to rip and walk but not technical whatsoever. i played horrible off the tee all day and was in the woods MANY times and shot 1 over. played long tees and again was in the woods MANY times and got a snowman on 17 and stiil shot 6 over. if your drives are predictable you will be under par for sure.
designers did very well considering the turf....less"

hertrich says "Played my first round here with the course designer (Ryan).
Amazing park, secluded from hussle and bussle of city. OPTIONAL donation box at parking lot (well worth the "suggested" to play)<...morebr /> PROS:
-Clean, well maintained fairways (cans every couple of baskets. trash mostly picked up by local golfers)
-2 paved tees for nearly every basket (shorts are still challenging for intermediates, most longs require a cannon for an arm)
-Beautiful surroundings
-Great basket layout. Amazing useage of surroundings, great switch up of lefts, rights, straights, short woods, and long opens. Almost every basket can be shot forehand or backhand depend on how technical or difficult you want to play. (really nice feature if you want to practice different styles of throwing).
CONS:
I honestly am having a hard time comming up with anything. I really enjoyed playing here. I guess if you don't look at a map before starting a couple of the tees could be hard to navigate (4, 9, 17) but map is easy to find http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course_files/129/3aea7f17.pdf...less"

gemarsh says "A real nice course with sweet ball golf course - like fairways on most of the holes. Cool Challenging shots through the woods also! Alternate tees on most holes that either made the hole longer or, tu...morerned it into a different hole alltogther. Just a couple direction sign for new players would aid in following the course in a few areas. If this place had a pavilion and restrooms put in it would be a great place for a nice tournament. I will return!...less"

devioushoneyflex says "This was originally posted as a review of Lincoln Park. It was meant for Lobdell Reserve, I have never played Lincoln Park but hope to sometime.
This course is my personal favorite or ...morethe ones I have played. Beautiful, serene, and tough are the first and most constant adjectives that come to mind here. This course is a charmer all around. From the first hole, putting to a pin ten yards away from a creek with a drop off into and a big rocky cliff for a backdrop, you will realize you are in for an experience. Many challenging holes here with variated reasons why. Some long enough to make you question yourself and some short enough to trick you into comfort. Obstacles are not in short supply either. From the treacherous 9th hole (throwing steeply uphill and through trees) to the 14th (which comes straight out from the tee, cuts hard left into wooded area, then cuts hard right to the pin) you will be constantly and excitedly anticipating and dreading what comes next. A must play for ANY disc golfer in the area and a surely satisfying course for any trip takers....less"

mpython77 says "This is a long course. Majority of the walking is between baskets, so I would not recommend wearing sandals for this course. Most of the holes on this course have pro tee's available. Especially #17, ...morewhich is, a 850+ ft. par 5 pro tee. I like the course because non of the holes overlap each other. You could be playing hole #12 and not realize that there is someone else playing just a couple holes ahead of you. The holes are crudely marked on wooden posts as well as the par and distance so it makes it a little difficult to judge where the basket is. Not a course for beginners due to the thick brush and woods surrounding the course making it very difficult to find a lost disc. Very peaceful course on a wildlife reserve, recommended.
If you are in need of a disc there is a little beer and cig convenience shop that has an Innova stand. It is on your way to the course on your left-hand side, just as you get off of rt. 37....less"
brucekline says "One of the longest courses I've played. Never seen more than 5 cars in the lot so there is seldom a wait time to play. Long drives even from the short tees. #12 is a bit confusing. It is the only hole...more where the plaque is next to the long tee instead of the short. Short tee is next to the marsh closer to the 10th basket. Overall, a very challenging course with seclusion and scenery....less"

Can be challenging to hike, as there are s...moreloping and rocky trails. Is definitely a fun course to play if you're looking for something new to check out....less"
kyleb says "Very nice mixture of distances and wooded / non-wooded holes. This course has some elevation changes as well as long straight holes."
roy says "I like this course a lot, great for practicing drives.
Its looooooong. One hole is over 800'. A good mix of strait, left and right tee locations. Its definitly challanging even for a seasoned p...morelayer. There are A and B tees. The two times I have been there the course was rough, as in not well mowed grass. I reccomend shoes (not sandles) and long pants. I saw a few deer and I allmost stepped on a Copperhead Snake! There are a lot of "critter holes" throughout the course along with some really thick out of bounds areas. I lost a disc, I'm sure there are countless more just laying around waiting to be found. Did I mention its long? Its well over a mile to walk all 18 holes. It looks like it used to be a regular golf course thats been converted with disc catchers.
I reccomend it to anyone thats not new to the sport, or else it could get frustrating....less"
jordancorbett says "Great course not for noobs"
jdog says "This course is long and usually empty. Prepare to do alot of walking, especially if you plan on throwing from the pro tees. Its a great course to work on your driving!"
