snohio says "Airy can be a tricky course. The front and back play totally different. This course was originally 12 holes and then they added 6 holes (in the woods). 7 and 8 are through the forest, no really. The u...morenderbrush is all gone, but there is not really one direct path through the trees. Hole 10 is a 700 foot par 5 (which used to be the longest in Greater Cincinnati - now Idlewild in KY has a 1000 foot hole.) You will find a lot of deer on the course (and they don't move when you throw at them), the Airy Forest has been over run (and they sent hunters in last year) with deer. I always see wild animals, so I gave it a 5 in scenery. All in all I would say it's one of my favorite courses in Cincinnati....less"

dandavis says "Like one of my previous comments, it is a fact the further south you go in Ohio the courses keep getting better. I've been playing for 15 years now and I really can not believe that I have never playe...mored this course. For most of the time that I have been playing, when I ask another disc golfer what is the best course in Ohio, 9 times out of 10 they say Mt. Airy....less"

paulyoung says "Now this is a disc golf course! Extremely scenic. A tough but fair hole layout. The only drawback is many baskets are hidden for the first-timer, so have a map handy."

cincykid says "I've been playing this course for several years now, and it doesn't get any easier. Kudos to anyone that can shoot par on this course! Most holes are between 300-500 feet with plenty of trees for ob...morestacles.

If you are playing this course for the first time, be sure to either play with or behind somebody who knows the course because you will most likely spend a long time trying to find tees/baskets if you don't!

nien407 says "This baby is huge, especially the 700' dog leg right par 4 number 10. I can not imagine shooting par.

We had some trouble finding out way around after number 5. It would help for some
...more sort of system to tell us where the next hole is after that and on some of the holes after 9 finding out where to go was a crap shoot.

Overall the course is a blast and probably my favorite of all that I have played.

louisdoench says "It's nice to live a mere 5 minutes from Mt. Airy Forest. Not only is it a really great Disc Golf Course, it's also a very pretty park, one of the largest parks completely within the city limits in the...more country. The course is a nice combo of wooded and open holes with plenty of elevation changes. No really short holes, (the shortest is 13, 238 feet). Challenging for right handers with lots of right hand turns. One seriously monster hole, # 10, requires at least 2 blind shots to the right. The rough is heavily wooded, so Mt. Airy has eaten it's share of discs, but it gives back a lot of fun....less"
