Been playing for about three months and still am not good, really, but i'm hopelessly addicted and am trying to spread the affliction to everyone i know.
for now, i'm trying to workshop my mid-range and putting game.
Got out of work early yesterday to meet up with a guy at Griggs I'd never met to purchase some plastic and play a round. I met Craig, Allen, Nate and another guy whose name I can't remember. These guys are about 12 tiers above me in terms of experience, talent and dg knowledge. They let me, armed with a new Q-Mega and XS, play a round with them. It was a great experience and I even played the course again before driving home. I was surprised at the crowd of folks playing, even though there was a freaking heat advisory or something. Anyway, I want to thank those guys for a great time. As someone who lives south of C-bus, but who has played a few rounds in the city, I haven't experienced any Columbus snobbery. People are people are people.
