Why Oh Why

No matter what I do or what I'm shown it seems that i can not drive any further than i am now. I'm ok for 250 to 300 feet but if at 800 to 900 feet holes, it kills me. It feels good when it leaves my hand looks good when it first leaves my hand the it just dies. Well gonna go throw my arm off and see if i can get something to work. Any tips let me know
