four rounds of pretty bad putting, but i had enough birdies

I feel really good about my last 4 rounds of golf, despite missing like 20 putts from inside 25 feet through 4 rounds, 2 at Massillon -5 and - 4, and 2 at canton -5 and -5. Both days the first rounds I started out hott then fizzled out, then the 2nd round I started out slow then caught fire late in the round, this is a good sign for me because I dont really start playing my best golf till the middle of august. May the course be with you always...

Wow I couldn't beleive it, after one round of the hoc 2008, I was in 2nd place in the open division after a good first round. Now I'm on the lead card 3 shots behind one of the best golfers in ohio, we start the 2nd round on hole one at massillon these are my scores for the first half of the 2nd round: 3,2,3,3,3,3,2,2,2,3,3,2.... five down, I think I might have even taken the lead at this point.
Then I step onto the 14th tee thinking wow it would be nice to get like 3 or 4 more birdies by the end of the round, then I tee off trying to park the monsterous hole 14, about 40 feet out of my hand I say "OH NOOO" then smash into a tree and it lands directly behind the thickest tree on the course, I take my 5 and say out loud "if I had to take a 5 i dont mind that hole...
Well now to hole 15, which I almost skip aced in the first round, I take another 5, then i say thats ok still more birdies left to get out of the last 9 holes.... so the last half of the course goes 5,5,4,4,4,3,3,3,3,3,3 and i finish at 2 over.....
From 1st place to 8th place really in five holes. I have always had problems with consistancy from round . I guess thats why they call me DYNOMITE DAN DAVIS.
I played the first 37 holes like a 1020 rated pro, then I played the last 35 holes like a 940 advanced player. Some day I will finish off a tournament and actually play my game.
Well at least I dont choke under pressure during leagues, I will never give up and I will figure out how to hold it together when it really matters

round 1 sat. massillon -1, round 2 sat. massillon -1 round 3 canton sat. E , round 1 massillon sun.-2 ... round 2 sun. -2 tues night singles - 6 massillon.5 rounds under par at massillon in a row
with a negative 6 to start this week.

does anybody have any tips, i need some help. I almost always play good golf on league nights and during practice play. why does a tournament add like 5 to 10 strokes to my game.

im playing in a c- tier saturday in alabama, we'll probably play a few courses along the way, 65 degrees in trussville alabama on saturday woo hoo sounds like fun. Thanks Dynamic for takin me along for the ride.

I played Massillon saturday after work and 10 holes in, i asked myself why i come out and play on icy crappy teepads for fun. Then i thought to myself I dont come out for fun anymore I go to practice and get better, the scores for the next 8 holes 3, 2, 2, 4, 2, 1, 3, 3. that ace reminded me that the fun part can happen at any time regardless how bad the previous holes were.

sunday at canton playing the original in two diffrent rounds i hit the basket on hole 11, then the end of my next round i aced #23. it completes the last few weeks since i had like 15 some kind of teeshots hit somewhere on the basket. got witnesses for them all ace total 18

i have recently added the hop step to my x step and i definatley reccomend it to whoever desires to throw farther than 500++ feet. i was throwing mid 400 then I added theBANG to my step, almost 600 feet first rip no lie.have fun

anybody in the ne ohio area,stark county will have a new dg store . i will have all the fixins, shirts shoes a real disc golf store.I really need some support. I will even offer advice for your game from skilled professional disc golfers. sorry i cant fit everybody in so call (330)754-9220. i can add 50 to 100 feet in a week guarenteed!

I' like to thank everyone that was involved with the 2007 YUTE, i dubbed these guys the rebel disc golf alliance a couple of years ago and they took it and ran. Great job with your tourney i had a blast. i am proud to take 2nd place and have the first ace .

What else can I say when you play in the cold windy conditions of ne ohio you can not expect to play your best, but playing in these adverse conditions will make you soo much better than a golfer whom only plays when the conditions are good. what i am getting at is it is what you put into it.

today we played massillon, kevin and bill g had me beat for almost the whole round untill hole 16.Bill Griffith had us by 1 shot going into 16, I was at even kevin -1,bill -2. I dueced, kev pared and bill bogeyed. #17 I completly ripped it, 20 feet from the pin, kevin got acrossed the valley but was 200 short. I dueced and kevin had par.Me - 2 kev -1 . we all had par on 18. It felt like a big victory because I came back in two holes to win.

My buddy Mike Gastin Aced long 14 at canton today 385 feet through trees over a 300 foot pond through some more trees, dead center chains.And he dueced a 475 foot hole like it was nothing. Oh and he hasn't played but 3 times in 8 months.
