Played at Dover today and noticed that they changed holes 11, 12, & 13. Same tees for 11 but the basket is now farther back and to the left. 12 got a total make-over with the blue and white tees right along the creek near the nature trail, the red tee where the basket used to be, and the basket up the hill next to the road. I believe the tees for 13 have stayed the same, but they moved the basket up into the woods (and I have no idea why). Also, they added some metal signs pointing golfers in the directions of baskets; hole 1 how has a huge pole sticking from the top with an arrow pointing down. Check the course pics for some cell phone shots of some changes. In my opinion, the changes are for the better...except 13's basket in those woods.

The blue and white tees on 13 have been moved up. The basket was moved into the trees to make up the distance lost, and to add a little challenge to a Looong hole with no obstacles.

I like the changes to 11 and 13, they're more challenging now. And 12 is okay too...at least it will hopefully keep the homeowners happy down there. I REALLY like that pole on #1. If you end up down below (which I seem to do often), it makes it easier to fire up an approach shot. Would that be legal for a tournament though?

I can't see any reason it would by illegal?

yes i like the 8 foot arrow. It gives you more to throw at and it kinda looks like a cartoon with the arrow pointing down at the basket

What's the deal with A-C Tiers and tournaments? I even spent some time on the PDGA site and couldn't find any info. I'm guessing it has to do with the level of players that can play? And that would be based on points assigned by playing PDGA events? I'm just curious, thanks. :)

Hey thanks...couldn't find that on my own. :) So it's more to do with the payout eh? Hadn't thought about it that way.
