Hi Everyone - I just started playing disc golf last week and I tried to create a course map. Let me know if it is off or if there is a better resource.

I see poles in the woods oposite the existing 9 holes. Are these for future baskets & signs? If so, any idea when?

The city did install those poles on the opposite side last year when they were doing the front nine, but they could not finish it then. Now it looks like they will resume installation in June.

I spoke with the recreations director and expressed my concerns and also mentioned the completion of the course. I have noticed the amount of trash and debris that is all over this place. A trash can of two might be better suited then the welcome sign. This place could be great, Im there at least 4 times a week and harldy see anyone, its kinda sad. The garbage and vandles over run it. I take a trash bag with me every time and the trash comes back the next day. 3 days ago I went there with my family and some one had relived their selves and the second tee. Eww@!@@!!! The #1 and #2 tee signs have been ripped off and bent over not to mention the only indicator of where the course even was, the small rules sign, is gone! It sad that the city really doesnt do a thing about it.

The city has removed the remaining tee signs for safe keeping and is looking into buying replacements for the stolen ones. The signs will be put back up with more heavy duty posts and attachments to hopefully thwart the vandalism. If the new set-up stands up better, then the city will look to do the same on the backside. They have not given any firm timetable on when the signs will be put back up. The trash is ridiculous and any suggestions on how to keep people from making such a mess would be great. People would probably just destroy trash cans.

that is awsome news about the signs. I dont care if the city holds em way too long at least they werent vandelized. I love this course and wish it the best. Except the bushes..oh I hate those bushes. As far as trash goes, nothing. Your right, they may just destroy the garbages so, what can u do? Nothing , as long as people are allowed in there their just gonna pollute, I guess. It just sucks to see, especialy if someone comes in from outta town or what about tourny play someday.
