Review
They really managed to cram a lot of holes into a small area and not make it feel crowded. This was clearly a well planned course. The holes were also definitely designed to make the most challenging use of the terrain. Accidental rollers can be dangerous and there are a few holes where you risk having your disk go into water.
All the plaques and markers with sponsorships really show that the local area really cares about the course. This is shown even more clearly by the fact that the information inside the kiosk is current and there are scorecards available.
The place has concrete tee pads, tee marker poles(that are showing their age) benches, trashcans, paved parking, picnic tables, and grills. Only bathroom is a porta-john, but at least they have something. The grounds look like they are well maintained.
There was a decent flow of people into the course but not so many that it interferes with even a beginners pace.
I rated the course 2 on family friendliness because of the Halloween masks nailed to the tops of burnt trees that look like evil totem poles. I thought it created a different kind of atmosphere, but little girls might not like it.
The scenery is what you would expect up on a hill in the Midwest.
