Indian Riffle is in a great part of town (Kettering), with a brand new outdoor mall nearby. HUGE park with extensive facilities including skate park, ball fields (baseball, football AND soccer), track, water park, walking path, playground and a pond. Kids could EASILY keep themselves busy (and content) for an entire day. In the evenings ALL kinds of sports are being played in the park.
The disc golf course has a great variety of open (1-5, 13-18) and wooded (6-12) holes and makes good use of space (expanse) within the park. Good use of elevation on #16 and water hazard (pond) on #5 and #17. Good wooded holes provide challenge without being impossible. It is a well-played course and nicely maintained. I highly recommend Indian Riffle as one of the best parks/courses in Dayton. Both experienced and novice players will enjoy. Take the kids and make a day of it! (4.5 out of 5 stars)
